I notice things. The button nobody can find, the form that asks too much, the screen where people quietly give up.
Design, for me, starts with watching people and asking why. The pixels come later, once I understand where someone hesitated and what they were actually trying to do.
Give me something new and slightly scary and I'm in. I'll figure it out piece by piece until it works.
